FANTASTIC Morning Everybody!
Here is this week’s edition of Three Thought Thursday:
- “Monsters are dangerous only if you run from them.” – Alan Cohen
No boogieman has any power over us unless we feed it with fear and denial. Most of our suffering comes from our tendency to run away from anything that frightens us. Face your demons, lean into those uncomfortable feelings, and you will see that you have the power and strength to overcome all fears!
- “If you get tired, learn to rest, not to quit.” – Banksy
A nurse recorded the most common regrets of the dying and put her findings into a book called “The Top Five Regrets of the Dying.” The most common regret: “I wish I hadn’t worked so hard.” If you are exhausted, rest. Release the need to be constantly busy. Carve out some time in the day for YOU! Take care of yourself!
- “Your relationship with yourself sets the tone for every other relationship in your life.” – Robert Holden
The most important relationship in your life is the relationship you have with yourself. If we identify a void in our lives, we tend to desperately search for people or things to help fill that void. But, we cannot fully love others until we learn how to fully love ourselves! When you are close to yourself, you have more truth in your interactions with others. This helps to release the need for external validation and increase the sense of security and strength we feel from within.
ENJOY what comes of today!
