Yoga and meditation are vital components of my life. Between playing football for 11 years and being addicted to Adderall for 7 years, my body and mind felt chaotic, unbalanced, and disconnected for a majority of my life. Yoga and meditation brought me back into alignment. This is why I have made it part of my life's purpose to share this gift with the world.
My Why: Yoga is a vital part of my life. After playing 11 years of football and hanging up my cleats after graduating college, my body was a mess. I couldn't sit down for more than 5 minutes. I couldn't touch my toes. I was the strongest on the team for most of my football career, but my body paid for it. The quality of my life deteriorated because of the physical and psychological imbalances I experienced from playing the game for so long. When I was introduced to the practice of yoga by a friend, my life changed forever. Not only did it heal my body by increasing flexibility and range of motion, it healed my mind. Through yoga, I developed a better relationship with myself and a more compassionate relationship with the world at large. Yoga meant so much to me that I went through a teacher training program in April, 2018 and have been teaching yoga ever since. From the muscle-bound NFL athlete to the middle-aged mother of 4, Yoga is a practice that benefits all. I believe that the practice of yoga can heal internal wounds while simultaneously increasing one's flexibility and range of motion. This practice is as physical as it is mental and spiritual. This is why I have made it part of my life's purpose to share this gift with the world.

- Yin Yoga: Reboot, rebuild and restore with postures focused on stretching and breathing.
